Welcome to EmuDaily.com This is a new emulation news site that will focus on support and the community. EmuDaily is a throwback to the late 90's and early 2000's when emulation was at its best. Feel free to our join our community forums. I am looking forward to growing this community slowly over time and getting to know some new people and reconnecting with some old familiar ones. Here is a short history for those that are not familiar with my previous site.
I originally got into emulation with bleem (Playstation emulator) back in 1999. Eventually I found the PSXEmu (later known as NGEmu) community and became a news poster for that site. I was also beta testing ePSXe and helping beta test other projects. I eventually decided to create a support site for ePSXe and other Playstation emulators and called it PSXFanatics. Over time the site grew and we started covering other systems. This led us to change our name to EmuFanatics. In the summer of 2005 we merged our site along with EmuHelp into Emulation64 (now just Emutalk.net). I redesigned Emulation64 and stuck around for a little bit but eventually faded away.
This brings us to now. I have always followed emulation and have used emulators throughout the years. I watched the community I enjoyed so much die away. News sites are not what they used to be. Most have died away or in the process of dying away with little to no updates. Some sites that do still exist seem to be riddled with ads or just for profit. Now the main source for most people when it comes to emulation is reddit. I am hoping to change that, I want to bring back that style of community. I want to create a place you can come for support and updates. Maybe it's too late for the emulation scene but let's find out together.
The site is Desktop/Laptop, Tablet and Mobile friendly. I did my best so all can access the site on which ever device you are using. Over the next couple weeks I will be building up our emulator database and support guides. If anyone would like to help feel free to reach out to me. Thank you
